Gary Keller’s book and the company’s emphasis on education and collaboration were almost enough to make us join, but we found the right fit with eXp.
Compass: Innovation through Technology Compass is known for its technology-driven innovation, streamlining the complex process of buying and selling real estate. Their platform integrates communication, marketing, and insight, setting a new standard in the industry. However, as agents, we felt that Compass’s tech focus was more geared toward buyers and sellers, rather than providing the agent-centric support we were seeking.
Remax: A Globally Recognized Brand Remax, with its iconic hot air balloon logo, has established a strong global presence. Their branding is instantly recognizable, and their unique selling proposition helps them rise above a crowded market. Despite this, we found Remax to be too office-centric for our preferences, which led us to explore other options.
Coldwell Banker: Trust and Legacy With a legacy of trust since 1906, Coldwell Banker has maintained its reputation for professionalism and adaptability through changing markets. Their focus on trustworthiness is commendable, but the commission structure and office-centric approach were not the best fit for us.
Berkshire Hathaway: The Power of Warren Buffett As Warren Buffett enthusiasts, Berkshire Hathaway was another strong contender. Their brand is built on trust and high-value transactions, largely due to Buffett’s influence. While we admired their approach, we ultimately chose eXp Realty for its flexibility and growth opportunities.
